Yesterday Mr. Eberly and Mr. Carte took some students on a trip to Washington, D.C. to watch a Washington Nationals baseball game. Students rode the metro into D.C. and learned how to read the train map and were able to navigate to get back home. The students and teachers had a great time exploring the city and enjoying the game.

Thursday evening students from Rockingham Academy attended the Rockingham FFA Heritage Dinner. The purpose of the Heritage Dinner is to raise funds for the Rockingham County "Ag Fund" which supports Agricultural Education students who work hard and excel in FFA competitions and proficiencies but do not have the financial means to attend State and National activities.
Rockingham Academy students made two cutting boards which were auctioned off during the evening for over $400!
