Every month, Ms. Dean will recognize two members of our incredible staff as Phoenixes of the Month. Staff members will receive a goody bag and some other fun treats.
Our March Phoenixes of the Month are Ms. Jenny Trumbo and Mr. Grant Disharoon.
Ms. Jenny Trumbo has been teaching for 20 years as a SPED teacher at Broadway High School, Montevideo Middle School, before teaching Pre-K at Fulks Run Elementary, and then joining us as a middle school teacher here at RA. Her favorite quote is from Anais Nin, "You can not save people, you can only love them."
Mr. Grant Disharoon has been teaching for 18 years. He taught for 4 years internationally in Mexico and Sweden. He has taught math and science in Maryland for 5 years and has been in Virginia for the last 8 years teaching math. His advice for students is, "Focus on yourself."
