Every month, Ms. Dean will recognize two members of our incredible staff as Phoenixes of the Month. Staff members will receive a goody bag and some other fun treats.
Our March Phoenixes of the Month are Ms. Renee Evans and Mr. Sheldon Rice.
Ms. Renee Evans is our English teacher and this is her 6th year here at RA! Before becoming a teacher, she was a social worker for 20 years. Her favorite quote is, " You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing you think you cannot do." ~Eleanor Roosevelt.
Mr. Sheldon Rice has been teaching PE and Health at RA for 2 years. Before coming to RA, he was a PE teacher at John Wayland Elementary School for 19 years. His advice for students is, "You can do hard things. Embrace the struggle. Nothing feels better than working hard to achieve something. Don't be afraid to fall."
