We have had a great week here at school, filled with learning, laughter, and meaningful moments! As we look ahead, there is a growing sense of excitement for the many special events and celebrations still to come. The final days of the school year are always a special time, and our students and staff are looking forward to making lasting memories together. We are so grateful for your continued support and partnership as we wrap up a wonderful year!

SOL Test Score Reports Coming Home Soon
We are wrapping up SOL testing over the next week, and we appreciate the hard work and focus our students have shown throughout the testing period. A parent report for each completed SOL test will be printed and sent home with your student during the last week of school. In addition, SOL scores will be available in your PowerSchool Parent Portal no later than June 11, 2025.
Field Day Volunteers and Donations Needed
Field Day is coming soon, and we are looking for volunteers to help run stations and keep things fun and organized! We are also seeking donations to keep our students energized and the day running smoothly. While all help is appreciated, we would especially love for families to sign up to bring snacks, drinks, soap, and splash balls.

A Look Back at a Great Year in the Library
What an incredible year it has been in the library! Our students have been busy reading, exploring, and discovering new favorites all year long. A big thank you to Ms. Simmers for creating such a welcoming and inspiring space where a love of reading can grow!. Important: Registering Returning JCMES Students by June 4th
As we wrap up the school year, please make sure your returning JCMES student is registered for the 2025-2026 school year by June 4th.
This is especially important because PowerSchool is changing how parent contact information is managed beginning July 1. Accurate contact information ensures that you receive messages from the school, transportation updates, and other important communication.
You will begin receiving weekly emails with your child’s snapcode, along with reminder text messages if your child is not registered yet. If you have already started registration, please be sure to complete it.

Get Ready for Summer Math Fun!
We are excited to offer summer math bags for students in PreK-5, thanks to extra Title I funding and the Gobbler Give Back initiative. Each free bag includes hands-on math manipulatives and a helpful guide filled with engaging activity ideas to build number sense over the summer.
