Winter Break Dates-December 20-January 3
Yesterday we held our annual Thanksgiving Feast! Students, faculty and staff, school board members, and community members all joined together for good food and great conversation! We want to give a big "THANK YOU" to Cargill in Dayton for donating 8 turkeys and Dr. Victor Saunders for his donation that helped make the meal possible. Faculty and staff prepared side dishes and Ms. Evans' art advisory students made the centerpieces. Trayvon made two cutting boards which were given as door prizes and the lucky winners, were Ms. Donna Abernathy and Mr. Matt Cross. We hope that everyone has a safe and joyful Thanksgiving break.

Mr. Disharoon and Mr. Rice's advisory students landed a sweet gig reading to the little ones at Pleasant Valley Elementary. Those high schoolers were over the moon as they flipped through pages and brought stories to life for Ms. Beach's 1st-grade class!

Monday, October 16th was National Boss's Day. The art students collaborated and created a piece telling the story of the starfish, that every individual can make a difference, even if that difference is only felt by one person. Thank you, Ms. Dean for everything!
